Tv Promo Project

The goal of this project was to create a fifteen-second clip to promote a made-up reality show.  We were given three options of shows to animate for, or we could create a show.  I created a show called "The Next Comic Legend" in which six artists compete to have their comic book published.  This project was created using Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.  The creative brief specifications are as follows;

• HDTV 1280x720 29.97fps

Render Settings

• 720x405 29.97fps

• QuickTime with Photo JPEG codec

Phase 1 –Design Spec document & Sketches/Thumbnails. Post design spec,

thumbnails & sketches to concept share for crit & discussion.

Phase 2 –Select one of your concepts & storyboard the animation.

Phase 3 –Style Frames: at least 3 style frames for 2 design options for the

animation.

Phase 4 –Final Production of Show Promo

Phase 5 – Revision of animation based on critique feedback
